This mini-documentary was made by myself (Pepe) and my partner Anna, during a two week journalism and communications program at American University early July.
“The Classics Never Die” is our ode to the record industry which is still very much alive, especially in DC. We spent many days in Adams-Morgan area of DC checking out record stores and testing our knowledge of DC public transportation.
It was a fun experience and I even bought another record to add to my collection (that I can’t even play yet because of my broken record player). I realized my love for documentary film making and I plan on pursuing this aspect of journalism in the future.
